Experience Kafue National Park

Kafue is ideal for self-drive safaris and guided day visits. Easily reached from Mumbwa, Kalomo, or Itezhi-Tezhi, Kafue’s relative accessibility allows local residents to enjoy shorter safari adventures. Guided game drives, boating, and walking safaris are offered by local lodges (when booked in advance), while the navigable network of roads around Chunga and Ngoma open up myriad self-drive opportunities. Indeed, some areas do not need a 4×4 vehicle, and trips can be planned that don’t require an overnight stay.
